Koru Care took 250 children with terminal illness or permanent disabilities, and 60 volunteers, out for their annual Christmas Cruise. The day included a 2 hour cruise on a Fullers ferry, then a party and BBQ at Eastern Beach.

Our guest of honour on the cruise was Ronald McDonald who took time out of his busy day to mingle with the children. At the beach the children had fun eating, swimming, dancing and singing A great day was had by all and Koru Care would like to thank all those that made it possible.

About Koru Care New Zealand
Since 1983, Koru Care has been working to bring a little bit of joy into the lives of children with terminal illness or permanent disabilities. During those years, we have helped more than 10,000 young people and their families. Sometimes we help by whisking children away from their less-than-perfect lives for a few days, to a fantasy destination far, far away. Other times we provide practical assistance, such as educational
