Auckland Communities Foundation
With a focus on grass-roots, community driven projects, the role of Auckland Communities Foundation is to inspire generous individuals and organisations to support the new and emerging needs of our communities.
The Foundation aims to become a trusted vehicle through which individuals, families, businesses, groups of like minded people and the community invest their philanthropic dollars to build a permanent legacy in the communities they serve.
Founded by Manukau City Council, & the Tindall Foundation, the list of board members, philanthropists & supporters is a veritable "who's who" of Auckland. Originally the "Manukau Communities Foundation", they have now expanded to provide support to grassroots community efforts across greater Auckland.
Board members include Dick Hubbard (ONZM/Founder, Hubbards), Steve Chaney (Nufarm NZ), & Philippa King (CEO, The First Tee of New Zealand).
